Hi there!
For now you will find just this small page but you can get the latest emelFM-elm-version.
Just get the complete sourcecode or the compiled debian-package (woody, i386).
(If something is wrong: Let me know.)
mini-FAQ:
What is emelFM-elm?
emelFM is a great filemanager but official development stopped a long time ago. So I decided to come up with a patch (-elm). Ok, it is no real patch because the source-tarball ist only ~140kb – so just grab it and don't bother with patching.
What is in the patch?
Just some small improvements. A few bug-fixes (e.g. if you use the diskusage plugin can now handle stuff that's bigger than 2GB) – thanks to Martin Zelaia more supported package-types (e.g. rar & deb) – and two new plugins which allow you to copy/move with a progressbar.
What's next?
There are still some things I want to improve but I don't consider them urgent. Perhaps you can send me a patch or suggestion :)
I am no programmer but I want a much more better emelFM!
Ok, just go to tooar.
But if there's a newer emelFM ...?
Yeah – but it's build with gtk2. So debian woody and some other small distributions can not use it. And gtk2 is slower than gtk1 so on some old PCs emelFM1 might still be the better choice.
